At West View, we are committed to connecting people to Christ, guiding them to purpose, and equipping them to live fully for God.

Our Story

West View Baptist Church was planted in Boone, NC as a result of prayer and the burden for a place where the Word of God would be preached plainly and powerfully. A church where anyone - no matter their story - could come and hear the truth, find hope, and be met with grace.

Since our foundation, God has been faithful. We have had the privilege of seeing people be saved, families restored, and lives transformed for Him - not by us, but by the Spirit of God and the power of His Word.

What We Believe

At West View we stand firm of the Fundamentals of the Christian Faith and trust wholly in God’s Word to shape and guide us.  Each message that is preached and every prayer that is prayed is anchored in these convictions:

  • Jesus Christ is the only Savior of mankind

  • The King James Bible is our foundation and final authority

  • The Holy Spirit empowers and convicts

  • Prayer is essential - not optional

  • God’s call to missions applies to every believer

  • Revival is still possible
