A Place for the Weary and the Seeking
At West View Baptist Church, we believe Jesus is still saving, still healing, and still drawing people to Himself. If you’re searching for peace, if your heart is heavy, or if you simply need somewhere to rest and be reminded of what’s true, we’d be honored to have you join us.
Right here on the NC Hwy 105 Bypass in Boone, we gather weekly as a family — young and old, broken and mended — to sit under the Word of God, lift our voices in prayer, and love one another as Christ loves us.
How West View Baptist Church Began
This church was planted from prayer and the burden that Boone needed a place where the gospel would be preached plainly and powerfully. A place where anyone — no matter their story — could walk in and hear truth, find hope, and be met with grace.
From those early days until now, God has been faithful. We’ve seen people saved, families restored, and lives transformed — not by us, but by the Spirit of God working through His Word.
What We Believe
We stand firm on the fundamentals of the Christian faith and trust wholly in God’s Word to guide and shape us.
Jesus Christ is the only Savior of mankind.
The King James Bible is our foundation and final authority.
The Holy Spirit empowers and convicts.
Prayer is essential — not optional.
God’s call to missions applies to every believer.
We still believe revival is possible.
Each message you hear and every prayer we pray is anchored in these convictions.

Meet Pastor Bradley Swift
My name is Bradley Swift, and I have the privilege of pastoring West View Baptist Church. My wife and I have seen God work through the ordinary — and sometimes messy — lives of people who are just trying to follow Jesus. We don’t have a large staff or a fancy setup. What we do have is a church that loves truth, values prayer, and welcomes anyone who walks through the door.
My heart is to preach the gospel clearly, love people sincerely, and create a space where the hurting can find healing through Jesus Christ.

Get Involved and Grow
The Christian life wasn’t meant to be lived alone. Here are a few ways you can step in and find your place:
Sunday Worship
at 10:30 AM
Clear preaching, heartfelt singing, and a church family ready to grow together.
Sunday Morning Prayer Room (9:30 AM)
A place to seek the Lord before service begins.
Wednesday Night Classes at 6:30 PM
Bible-based teaching for every stage of life, much like a traditional Sunday school.
Prayer Meeting at 7:15 PM on Wednesdays
A time to gather as a church and call out to God for one another, our community, and beyond.
You don’t need to have it all together. You just need to be willing to come.
Serving the Boone Community
We love Boone, NC. It’s where God has placed us, and it’s where we aim to serve with compassion and truth. From the college campus to the mountain hollers, we believe God is drawing hearts to Himself.
What we offer:
Christ-centered, Scripture-based services
A loving, prayer-filled church home
Sunday and midweek gatherings to grow in faith
A pastor and wife who are here to serve, pray, and walk with you
This isn’t a place to be entertained. It’s a place to be changed.
